Realizing national and supranational significance of Knowledge Society, familiar as Information Society too, and combining it with Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) we could start talking and thinking hard about changes to come in educational process. We know, already, that the way of thinking, habits and mentality in general are directly related to the entire culture we adopt throughout our life. So, education, is a catalyst ingredient of every type of cultural expression (sport, family, personal, vocational, etc.); that is why, we would like to pay special attention to the correlation of the fields of education and technology. Towards this spirit, Open Access Repositories will be discussed as a new tool in the service of new educational practices. We will try to explore relations, values, as well as processes that turn information into knowledge.
